> I'm not a *Sneakerhead*, but I'm a bit of an enthusiast. I buy more sneakers than I should.
## The Goods
I could never call myself a sneakerhead, and the biggest reason is probably how few pairs of Jordans I've owned. The ones I *have* owned have never made me want to buy more, if I'm being honest. The retros with silhouettes that I like generally aren't super comfortable, and the newer models are...let's just say *disagreeable* to me, aesthetically.
But last year, along comes the CMFT Era: a low-top with primarily OG styling cues, but made out of suede and mesh and with "comfort" right in its name. Looked great on the website, so I grabbed a pair.
And now I wish I had grabbed the other colorways I liked while they were still available, because it's become one of my favorite pairs. The fit is roomy - lots of toe box space, not a ton of heel-toe drop. Cushioned, but not overly squishy. These are the sort of shoes I'm happy to wear all day, and my feet don't even notice.
They give skate shoe meets classic tennis shoe vibes. Dear Nike: restock these soon please.
